Catherine Leigh Osterman, pitcher for the USA Woman's Softball Team began pitching at age eleven in Houston, TX.  From there she became a high school softball phenomenon where she was named the 2011 Gatorade National Softball Player of the year. After high school she took her skills to The University of Texas where she literally broke every record and pitched the first perfect game in UT history.

Her fame began to progress as she covered Sports Illustrator twice and joined the USA Softball Team at the world Olympics in 2004 and 2008 where they won the gold and silver, respectively.  In 2006 she was the first pick in the National Professional Fastpitch draft by the Connecticut Brakettes, but later as a free agent traded to the Rockford Thunder. She is currently still a member of the USA Woman's National team, and playing in Japan.
