Skyler Weekes Breaks Dyno World Record For 4th Time
Skyler Weeks has made the trip over from the USA to Cliffhanegr on each of the 4 occasions it has been held. On each occasion he has broken the Dyno Competition World Record. This year he moved his own mark from 2.825m to a massive 2.85m! Skyler is now in the UK for a further 2 weeks on a road trip with a photographer to find and climb new Dyno projects. Mick Ryan of UKClimbing was on hand at the event and video'd Skyler's winning jump. You can see the video here.
Skyler also won the equivalent open competition on the Sunday of the event with a jump of 2.80m and has said he will be back again next year.
Local climber Lily Fitzgibon also continued her dominance in the event, winning on both Saturday and Sunday, but didn't manage to better her own world record of 2.10m in the women's event.
The event was supported in 2010 by POD Sacks.
